We understand how personal your event is to you, and as every client has different needs and budgets, our wedding decor hire and event design service begins with an in-depth consultation to get to know you, what you would like from your day, and how we can work together to achieve it.

How We Work

Customer experience is key to us here at Elegant Design, that is why we work hard to bring you the best service possible…. This is what you can expect

10 weeks before the big day: An email asking to book in a phone call to go over all the details

8 weeks before the big day: This is when payment will be due

4 weeks before the big day: We will contact the venue to arrange when we can get in to style the day

2 weeks before the big day: We will be in touch to confirm all dates and times with you

1 week after the big day: We will be in touch to return your damage retainer

 

Terms & Conditions

A 20% (non-refundable) deposit must be paid to secure all bookings. Until the deposit, Booking Form and signed Terms and conditions are returned your date is still available for another person to book.

Dates are held for 7 days after the issue of booking paperwork and will then be released if a booking has not been confirmed.

The outstanding balance must be paid in full along with any set-up/delivery charges no later than 8 weeks prior to your booked date, failure to do so may result in your booking being cancelled without further notice.

At the time of paying the balance we will require a refundable breakage/damage deposit. This will be returned once all hired items have been checked over. The deposit will be returned no later than 7 days after the collection of our goods. The deposit will depend on the value of the hired goods. If the breakages/damage amount exceeds the initial deposit, we will then invoice you for the remaining amount owed. This will be payable in 30 days. Please note any breakages/ damage will be determined by Elegant Design.

Any orders cancelled with less than 8 weeks until your event will lose all monies paid. If you cancel your order before this time, a refund will be issued minus the booking deposit.

You shall be solely responsible for our goods, not the reception/event venue/ Hotel/ Florist or any other third parties who will take possession of our goods on your behalf. Please make sure all your bridal party, guests and venue staff are aware that these items are hired as any damage, breakages and missing items are your responsibility and will be charged to you.

All prices stated do not include delivery or set up unless stated.

Please make sure that all tables and chairs are set out and in place ready for our staff to come in and start dressing the room. We reserve the right to leave the venue and return when all items are in place ready for us to start our job, which may result in your time schedule of the day being interrupted.

All items should be removed and packed in the boxes they arrived in, in time for our arrival the following day. Our delivery, set up and collection service does not include the removal of goods so all chairs and tables etc. need to be stripped by you prior to us arriving.

Elegant Design are in no way responsible for injury or damage to any person or property sustained from any hired good.

SENIOR EVENT STYLIST

After creating and styling her own wedding in 2017 Laura realised she had found her passion and set up Elegant Design.

Laura loves to make each event she creates special and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your wedding, party or event.

EVENT HANDYMAN

Gavin is the ultimate handyman! He brings Laura’s visions to life, making such items as love letters, donut walls, sweet stalls and much more.

Gavin loves to think outside the box and finds solutions to any obstacles that may arise.

FLOWER WALL STYLIST

Emma is in her element when she is making flower walls that have been designed by Laura and Gavin, her attention to detail is amazing and she loves seeing her finished masterpieces!

Emma is also a key part in setting up our events, if you have booked us for a wedding, party or event you will most probably see her setting up the chair covers, centrepieces and other decor.
