Mix and Match

Mixing and matching the wedding decor for your vintage wedding can work really well, if you do it right. Think about chalkboards. They are great to welcome guests to your wedding, to display your wedding breakfast seating plan or even to give guests an agenda of the wedding day.

We love a little bunting!

Bunting plays a great role in a vintage wedding theme. If you are having your wedding in a barn, as an example, then bunting up high in the barn ceilings will look fantastic. Think about any colour you want in your vintage wedding theme and use these in your bunting. This bunting will create a great first impression to guests, but will also pull your wedding theme together perfectly.

Love Notes

How would you like guests to leave well wishes to you and your partner? How about a cream vintage post box for guests to place wedding cards in. Next to this you could have a working typewriter where guests could type in their good wishes for you. This is a great vintage alternative to a guest book. However, remember some guests will be unsure how to use it, so consider some instructions next to it

The Perfect Backdrop

A rose flower wall could work beautifully as a back drop for photos. This could be photos throughout the day, but also those photos as guests arrive in the evening. By having a vintage flower wall at the entrance to your wedding, with a photographer – you’ll be sure to have photos of all your guests. Roses are a really vintage style of flowers. A wedding flower wall can be created to match your wedding theme perfectly.

Blossom Trees

Speaking of roses, how about some gorgeous blossom trees added to your vintage wedding decor. These could be placed at the start of the aisle before you walk down it or at the top next to you and your partner. Alternatively, you could have the wedding blossom trees at the entrance to your evening reception. While these blossom trees will create a great entrance to your wedding, they will really set the scene, mood and theme too.
